The story of Coca-Cola begins in 1886, when pharmacist Dr. John S. Pemberton in Atlanta, Georgia, formulated a unique syrup that he mixed with carbonated water to create the very first Coca-Cola.

- Innovation: In 1916, the company introduced the now iconic "contour bottle. The unique design was intended to distinguish Coca-Cola from other beverages and ensure that it would be recognizable even "in the dark or broken to pieces.
- Global presence: Today, Coca-Cola is sold in more than 200 countries and the company produces more than 500 different brands of drinks.
