Can a billiard table be placed in a basement or upstairs?
It’s usually possible to install a pool table on an upper floor or in a basement. Every situation is different, so it’s important that we have as much information as possible, including photos and measurements of windows, doors, stairwells, etc. This allows us to determine whether the table needs to be delivered disassembled. Due to the weight of the billiard tables, installation on an upper floor is not straightforward. To ensure this remains physically feasible and affordable, we ask the customer to provide on-site assistance from at least three people. If a crane, forklift, or furniture lift is required for delivery, the customer must arrange for one through a local company.
Can I have my sheet replaced?
A worn sheet or a sheet damaged by a clumsy billiard stroke can be replaced at any time. Here you can always choose the color and type of sheet. The cloth of the playfield is replaced together with the cloth applied to the rubber bumpers. After a long period of time the rubber bumper strips lose their elasticity, which makes them harder and uncomfortable to play. The bumpers can also be replaced at any time if necessary.
What is the delivery time?
Crafting a billiard table is so much more than just building a table. There’s a lot that goes into it, and it requires the necessary knowledge, precision, and finesse. In addition to aesthetics, it’s crucial that everything is done just right. This unique craft is carried out with heart and soul, which naturally results in a specific lead time. We always provide an estimate for the lead time, as we have to take many variables into account. All billiard tables are custom-made to order for each customer. Depending on the model and the selected options, the delivery time is at least 12 weeks. Depending on the time of year, production and delivery times may vary. How do I maintain the sheet?
Over time, your cloth will show signs of use. Already after the first few games of billiards, you will notice small white spots on the cloth. These are caused by the friction between the ball and the cloth, causing a small white burn mark to appear. This is perfectly normal and cannot be avoided. To remove chalk residue and dust, we recommend brushing the sheet regularly and removing the loosened dirt with a vacuum cleaner. For this purpose, it is best to use a vacuum cleaner mouth as used for vacuuming sofas or seats. If the cloth is exposed to direct sunlight, the color may fade. We recommend always covering the billiard table when not being played on. This can be done with a cover plate if you use the billiard as a dining table or with a cover sheet.

What kind of maintenance does a pool table require?
For normal household use, it is sufficient to brush or vacuum the sheet regularly and keep the balls clean. In the hospitality industry or institutions, we recommend a professional inspection—depending on usage (annually or every two years)—which includes replacing the sheet, readjusting, and refitting. For schools, youth centers, and cafés, we offer maintenance contracts.
Will you guys set up the pool table, too?
Yes, we deliver and install our billiard tables throughout Belgium and abroad. The table is delivered fully assembled by our own staff, leveled, and set up and ready to play.
How long does it take to have a custom billiard table made?
A custom-made solid oak billiard table requires a minimum of 12 weeks for delivery, depending on the model, finish, and season. When you place your order, we’ll discuss the design, dimensions, oak finish, and cloth color together.
What is the difference between a pool table, carom billiards, and snooker?
A pool table has 6 pockets and is used for pool and snooker variants. A carom table has no pockets and is played with 3 balls; it’s popular in competitive play. A tap billiards table (golf billiards) is the classic Belgian pub billiards table with 8 taps (toppen or stoppen) in the center and two next to each goal. Which type is right for you depends on your playing style and the space you have available.
Can you convert a dining table into a pool table?
It is not possible to convert a regular dining table into a full-fledged pool table. A billiards table has a slate top, specific cushions, and precise alignment that a dining table structure cannot support. What is possible, however, is having a new pool table-dining table combination custom-made that combines both functions, with a removable tabletop that covers the billiards table.
Is a pool table the same height as a dining table?
No, a standard pool table is taller: between 80 and 82 cm (depending on the tabletop you choose), while an average dining table is 76 to 78 cm high. Our pool table-dining table combinations are therefore designed to a specific height that allows you to both play and dine comfortably, with matching chairs or bar stools.
How much space do you need for a pool table?
The rule of thumb: add about 1.5 meters to each side of the table’s playing surface. For a standard 7-foot pool table (212 × 106 cm), you’ll need at least 500 × 400 cm of free space. For an 8-ft or 9-ft table, allow proportionally more space. If you have less space, shorter cues (for example, 120 cm instead of 140 cm) may be a solution.
